During his 13 years at the helm, James has led the evolution of Dix Developments from landowner to a full service, integrated multi-use real estate development, construction and management firm, including the creation of an Ultra High-end Street of Dreams Project featuring six show homes ranging in price from $4M to $8M.

He oversees all operations, including management of our flagship project: the 500 million dollar development of regional impact Volusia county, Flagler county 1,800 + single and multifamily units with over 600,000 commercial retail, office and industrial square feet.  

James is responsible for attracting millions in direct investment and construction as well as working with many state, county and city officials to help enhance the Florida landscape with quality communities.  

With nearly 30 years of experience, his expertise spans the real estate spectrum, from leading large-scale developments with public and private parties to navigating Community Development Districts and infrastructure bond finance such as the 53 million dollar community development district of HuntersRidge in Volusia and Flagler counties.

A McGraw-Hill international best selling author James has published 9 books on various financial topics and has been recently featured in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, USA Today, Forbes and seen on CNBC, NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS. He currently serves as Florida Chairman of the Department of Defense Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve. James is also a member of the American Legion and Urban Land Institute. As both a former Marine and dedicated family man, James strives to make a positive difference in the lives of every person he meets.
